Acupuncture Medicine

Why Acupuncture?

We accept insurance for Acupuncture Treatments

Acupuncture is a form of medicine with a 3,000 year tradition. It is the fastest growing alternative medicine in the US, used already by over 3,000.000 people, including the military. Because it works by activating the body’s own healing potential it has no side effects.

Acupuncture needles are sterile and disposable; the average size is comparable to a cat’s whisker. Most of them are not even felt when inserted; an acupuncture treatment is a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

Studies show that during acupuncture, our brains begin to release chemicals such as endorphins (natural painkillers). Acupuncture also has an anti-inflammatory effect and helps people’s immune system.

Acupuncture needles act like conductors that when placed in specific places “tune” the body to maximize health and wellness.

Both the National Health Institute (NHI) and the World Health Organization (WHO) recognize acupuncture as a valid treatment for a wide range of conditions.
According to the WHO, acupuncture has proven effective for the following conditions.

TESTIMONIALS -

After attempting to get pregnant for the last 9 months I decided to turn to Chinese medicine for help. After a month on the program I missed my period and was pregnant, thank you! -D.B.
For the first time in 9 years I was able to relax. Genuinely. And I was the most comfortable I have ever been. Not only that I felt good for a duration after our session, I wish i could feel like that more often. It was truly amazing. Everybody should do acupuncture. -T.K.
